iOS 26.2 Arrives in December

Apple has revised the Sleep Score categories in iOS 26.2 and watchOS 26.2. Very Low now covers 0 to 40, Low covers 41 to 60, OK covers 61 to 80, High spans 81 to 95 and Very High covers 96 to 100. Apple says scores reflect sleep duration, consistency and how often users wake during the night.

The Reminders app finally gains alarm functionality. When adding a reminder, selecting a time and toggling the Urgent option triggers an audible alert at the scheduled moment, making time sensitive tasks harder to miss.

The Podcasts app receives three improvements. Episodes can now show automatic chapter markers, timed links appear as the audio plays and users can view other shows mentioned within an episode directly from the player and transcript views.
