Apple Intelligence, the personal AI system combining the power of Apple Silicon and GenAI models with user context, was recently revealed to the world at WWDC 2024.

Apple Intelligence understands languages and images and can create them. It is designed to support more user queries and searches than ever before, thanks to its capability to use personal contextual information.

Though Apple has integrated Apple Intelligence into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, not every Apple device is powerful enough to make use of Apple Intelligence. Using Apple Intelligence on an iPhone requires the iPhone model to be powered by an A17 Pro chipset as the Neural Engine on the A17 Pro is powerful enough for Apple Intelligence to be deployed. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by the A17 Pro and, hence, fit the bill. Although, we expect all the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 series models to be powered by Apple Intelligence.
