‘The Atypical Family’ and ‘Beauty and Mr Romantic’ make history by hitting new all-time high in viewership

Two K-Dramas broke viewership records by hitting new all time highs in viewership. Both the shows, ‘The Atypical Family’ and ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’, are from JTBC channel. JTBC is a south Korean nationwide pay television network.

According to Nielsen Korea, ‘The Atypical Family’, achieved its highest viewership ratings yet on 12 May. The fourth episode of the show hit an average rating of 4.1 percent. Its personal highest.

’The Atypical Family’ stars Jang Ki-yong, Claudia Kim and Chin Woo-Hee, and many more. It is a fantasy romance revolving around a family, once blessed with superpowers, slowly losing their magical abilities under the weight of the world. A mysterious woman comes in and changes everything and offers them the chance to turn things around

The show, ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’, also had its highest viewership rating on Sunday. The drama was the most watched program of any kind with an average nationwide rating record of 18.3 percent.

The show ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’ stars Ji Hyun Woo, Im Soo-hyang, Yang Dae-hyuk, etc. The official description of the show reads: “A top actress rises from obscurity to escape her life of poverty. But after a scandal causes her to fall from grace, she connects with a pure-hearted producing director on the set of her latest drama, and her life just might change.”

Actors Ji Hyun Woo and Im Soo-hyang are being praised for their electrifying chemistry in the romance drama, ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’. Newly released behind-the-scenes show the two characters looking adorably in love. It almost feels as if the two are a couple in real life!
