Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024: As per the local media reports, applying for the Chief Minister's "Majhi Ladki Bahin" Scheme has become easier with the launch of a dedicated website, ladkibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. This announcement comes after initial application hurdles encountered through the Nari Shakti Doot app.

"The website allows users to conveniently select their village, ward, and taluka," said District Women and Child Development Officer Monika Randhwe. Importantly, those who already applied via the Nari Shakti Doot app do not need to re-apply.

The "Majhi Ladki Bahin" Scheme empowers women aged 21 to 65 from low-income families by providing a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1500.

"We encourage all eligible women who have not applied yet to utilise this new platform before the extended deadline of August 31, 2024," Ms. Randhwe emphasised.

Women can now conveniently apply from the comfort of their homes. The website facilitates online application submission, eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices.
