The craze to get tickets for Coldplay's upcoming concert in Mumbai has led to a huge rush and led to crashing of the ticketing platform BookMyShow's app and website. At a time when stories of desperate fans to get their hands on the tickets are doing rounds on social media, the crashing of BookMyShow's app and website added fuel to fire, and resulted in a meme fest on social media.

Meanwhile, tickets for the concert has been sold out. Coldplay responded to the overwhelming response by announcing a third concert in the city. The band confirmed the new concert date on X. “Due to phenomenal demand, a third Mumbai date has been added at DY Patil Stadium for 21 January, 2025. Tickets on sale at 2PM IST today,” it shared.
