E-auction for DDA penthouses, super luxury apartments in Dwarka starts today

DDA penthouse auction to start from January 5

The e-auction for penthouses and super luxury apartments by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Dwarka is set to start at 11 am on January 5 under its Festival Special Housing Scheme 2023.

The e-auction conducted by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will feature a total of 1,147 flats, including 14 duplex penthouses and 170 super luxury flats. The auction will commence at 11 am and will include 963 mid-segment apartments located in Dwarka and Lok Nayak Puram. Additionally, 946 3BHK HIG (High-Income Group) apartments will be auctioned separately on January 6 as part of this housing initiative.

A senior DDA official said that the e-auction for duplex penthouses and MIG flats will start at 11 am and close at 12 noon. Similarly, the e-auction for super HIG apartments will begin at 3 pm and close at 4 pm on January 5.

The Authority is offering 14 duplex penthouses and these will be four-bedroom apartments with a plinth area of 424 square metres. Luxury apartments and penthouses are being offered in a housing complex located in Dwarka sector 19B, overlooking an upcoming 18-hole golf course in sector 24. The complex, with an estimated construction cost of Rs 700 crore, has 11 towers.

The penthouses will also have terrace gardens, and the luxury housing complex in Sector 19B will have larger-than-usual green spaces. The mid-segment apartments are being offered in Dwarka sector 14 and Lok Nayak Puram, a locality developed by DDA in west Delhi.

Registrations for luxury apartments, including penthouses, along with MIG flats were started from November 30.

Pricing

The reserve prices for luxury penthouses and Super HIG flats will start from Rs 5 crore and Rs 2.5 crore, respectively. The reserve price for HIG apartments has been kept at Rs 1.4 crore. The reserve prices of MIG flats start from Rs 1 crore.

Officials said that the e-auction process for allotment of the luxury and MIG segment was chosen after consultations with real estate experts on pricing the flats. These apartments are situated at prime locations in proximity to IGI Airport, a metro station and a convention centre, officials said.
