Glossary

Pending order

A client’s order to open a position when a price reaches a certain level.

Pip

The smallest increment of change in a foreign currency price, either up or down.

Point

A minimal security price change. E.g. initial price of the security was 1.3550 and it has dropped to 1.3545. It means that there was a 5-point rate change.

Price

The price at which the underlying currency can be bought or sold.

Price transparency

The ability of all market participants to "see" or deal at the same price.

Principal value

The original amount invested by the client.

Profit

Customer’s revenue from a completed transaction.
