Mirai, Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj's most recent fantasy action-adventure, is gaining a lot of popularity and leaving a lasting impression at the box office.
The movie has engaged viewers in India and overseas, particularly in North America, and in just five days, it has surpassed the remarkable Rs 100 crore global milestone.
People Media Factory, the production house behind Mirai, shared that the film earned Rs 91.45 crore globally in its first four days.
On Tuesday alone, it added around Rs 7 crore from Indian theatres, along with healthy overseas earnings. Trade insiders estimate the film’s total five-day haul to be about Rs 101 crore, placing it among the top Telugu hits of 2025.
What’s even more exciting is how Mirai has already outperformed other notable films. It has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, which crossed ₹100 crore earlier this year. It also edged past the final collections of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s much-hyped project, which earned ₹97 crore in total.
Though Mirai is still fresh in theatres, it looks like it has the staying power to cross Rs 150 crore, and perhaps even Rs 200 crore globally. While it’s yet to reach the massive numbers of blockbusters like Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Mahavatar Narsimha — both of which made over Rs 250 crore — its promising start hints at an exciting journey ahead.
The film is directed by Karthik Gattamneni and stars Teja Sajja as the hero and Manchu Manoj as the antagonist.
They are joined by Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran, whose performances give the narrative more nuance. The film's combination of fantasy, action, and adventure has won accolades from both critics and viewers, making it an exciting watch.
