Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised the new director and writer in Bollwood, Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is getting ready to make his eagerly awaited directorial and writing debut with his upcoming Netflix series The Ba**ds of Bollywood.

The show, which is expected to provide a new and humorous viewpoint on the Indian film industry, has already created a lot of buzz because of its captivating concept and impressive cast.

In a candid conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Karan was asked about emerging talents in Bollywood.

He praised Aryan Khan's work ethic and directing abilities without hesitation. Remembering his intimate bond with Aryan, Karan called him his “firstborn” and said he had total faith in his skills.

Despite not giving away specifics about Aryan's next project, Karan urged viewers to follow the up-and-coming filmmaker, pointing out that Aryan is a private person who would rather avoid the spotlight.

“If there’s a king, there will be a prince,” Karan remarked, reinforcing his belief in Aryan’s potential. He went on to describe Aryan as someone with immense dedication, saying, “20 ghante kaam karta hai. Ussey kaam se bada aur koi kaam nahi hai. Ussey jeetna hai.” (He works 20 hours a day. There’s nothing bigger for him than work. He likes to win).

Karan also discussed Aryan's character, highlighting the fact that he is ambitious but sensitive to setbacks. Although Aryan is the son of Shah Rukh Khan, he works quietly and isn't constrained by his well-known father's legacy, he said, adding that Aryan has a unique and independent voice in his direction.
